New York took the dominant 3-0 series lead by beating Philly 108-94 on Friday. Four Knicks scored in double figures, led by Jalen Brunson with 33 points, while Josh Hart delivered a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Philly came out aggressive and had Joel Embiid but it wasn’t enough although all five starters scored in double figures. Kelly Oubre Jr. led the way with 22 points and eight rebounds.

Oddly, the Knicks are listing OG as a game-time decision, which is absurd, given that they only need one more game to advance to the Conference Finals. Why even risk making his leg worse?
Likewise, Hart got injured in the last game, and it would behoove New York to rest their scrappy forward.
The question is how much pride the 76ers have and whether they want to travel to MSG again for what would likely be the close out game.
Per John Schuhmann: The Knicks were the best rebounding team in the first round, and they outscored the Hawks by 6.2 points per game on second chances. Mitchell Robinson (19%) and Towns (17.8%) ranked first and fourth, respectively, in individual rebounding percentage among the 142 players who averaged at least 10 minutes.
The Sixers need to stop fouling, as it’s leading to a huge advantage for the Knicks (New York doubled the 76ers free throw attempts on Friday, 32 to 16). The visitors also dominated on the glass (49 – 33), which helped them win the points in the paint (52-46) and transition (14-10) scoring.
Heading into this matinee, it all comes down to pride and not wanting to be swept. Joel Embiid’s request for fans not to sell their tickets didn’t pan out, but we’ll see if Game 4 elicits a Knicks-heavy crowd with brooms in hand.
I’m banking on Tyrese Maxey having a breakout game and Embiid occupying KAT. Therefore, take the measly points and Philly for the win.
