Wednesday night, the New York Knicks head to Orlando’s Amway Center to take on the Magic in one of the last few games of the season.
Despite a quiet season, the Magic have just four games left and are in the hunt for the 8th and final Eastern Conference playoff spot. It’s certainly doable, considering the first of these last few games is against the last place Knicks.

Because of this, it’s prime shut-down-players season for the Knicks. Frank Ntilikina is out for the season with a sore groin. Dennis Smith and Alonzo Trier are both out day-to-day with injury and likely won’t see the floor on Wednesday. And Noah Vonleh is out with a right ankle injury. No doubt, the Knicks will be extra short-handed against the Magic.
After losing six in a row, the Knicks actually got a win on Monday against Chicago, despite all the injuries. New York beat the Bulls 113-105, but the Magic are definitely better competition than Chicago, so I wouldn’t allocate too much capital toward the Knicks moneyline.

Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic are 6-2 in the last eight games, an encouraging stretch for a team still in the playoff hunt. Currently, the Magic sit in 9th place in the Eastern Conference, just a half game back of the Miami Heat for that final playoff spot.
Offensively, Orlando isn’t a particularly high scoring team, averaging just over 106 points per game. However, against a Knicks team that gives up over 114 per game, the Magic have a good shot at putting up a big number in this one.

With a total of 212 for this game, it will take a lot for these two teams to hit the over. I expect the Knicks won’t surpass 100 points, but the Magic definitely will. Orlando should easily put up 110+ points on Wednesday night, but should still stay Under the total.
The fact that these teams have gone under in two of the three games this season is just all the more reason to roll with an under bet in this game.
