It was one thing for them to be stuck on the road so much to start the season but the four-game series versus the Wolves gave Minnesota a DECIDED advantage.
Case in point:
Minny has had the rest advantage in every meeting so far with the Nuggets unbelievably facing them on the second game of a back-to-back on all three occasions. Sunday was particularly egregious given the turnaround (less than 22 hours from tip to tip) and Denver had to travel.
Malone noted each of Jokic (hamstring), Murray (knee), Gordon (shoulder), and Caldwell-Pope (ankle) have legitimate injuries and didn’t travel with the club.
Veteran Jeff Green thought it was illegal for a team to be scheduled to start a second game less than 24 hours after they tipped off their prior game.
The other major takeaway was despite being so shorthanded and without a primary ballhandler Bones Hyland sat glued to the bench fueling the belief Calvin Booth is actively attempting to move him by the deadline on Wednesday.

Denver possesses the best offense in the league highlighted by scoring 116.8 points per game ranking seventh. Denver is shooting the best field goal percentage of 50.8% as well as the top-ranked perimeter efficiency of 39.6%.
The Nuggets allow opponents to score 113.0 points per game which ranks 13th while limiting foes to 48.1% from the field and 35.2% from deep ranking 26th and eighth respectively.
