Wednesday, December 28th, the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls will compete in the second of four scheduled meetings this season. The Bulls won the initial November 23rd match 118-113. The Bulls will host again on February 16th while Milwaukee will host the final contest on April 5th.
Both teams are coming off bad losses with Milwaukee losing 118-139 on Christmas Day to the Celtics while the Bulls got trounced 118-133 by the Rockets Monday.
The Bulls hold the all-time record having bested the Bucks in 133 of their 260 matches. Last season the clubs played four times with the Bucks sweeping the regular season series.

For a brief stint, the Bucks overtook the Celtics atop the Eastern Conference, but shortly afterward they hit a rough patch and are in a bit of a tailspin.
Typically I don’t worry too much about Milwaukee but rumors that Khris Middleton isn’t progressing how the team hoped coupled with the recent losses (and how they’re losing) have to be raising a few red flags.
On Christmas, Boston repeatedly attacked Grayson Allen which has me wondering if Milwaukee will make a move before the deadline to address that concern.
Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.2 points, 11.2 rebounds (2.1 offensive boards), and 5.1 assists per game.
He’s shooting 53.6 percent from the field on 20.9 attempts, 25.3 percent from the perimeter on 3.1 attempts, and 64.4 percent from the stripe on 12.5 attempts.
Opponents score the sixth-fewest points versus the Bucks with 110.1 and are limited to the fourth-lowest (45.5%) field goal percentage and rank 10th for opponent perimeter percentage of 35.5%.
Offensively, the Bucks score 112.6 points per game (17th), while shooting 46.2% from the field (23rd) and 35.0% from the perimeter (16th).
Jrue Holiday (hamstring) is probable while Khris Middleton (knee soreness) is out.

The disappointing season by the Bulls continues and perhaps hit rock bottom with their recent loss. Teams fall prey to trap games all the time but with Chicago so desperate for a win getting pummelled by the Rockets (who had only nine wins at the time) surpasses humiliating and embarrassing.
As we inch closer to the trade deadline the big question is whether the Bulls will look to move one or more of their big 3 (DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic).
The presumption was DeRozan would be the player on the block but with LaVine causing much of the internal conflict and wanting a trade, he may end up being who Chicago shops.
Chicago scores 113.4 points per game ranking 16th while they shoot 48.3% from the field and 36.8% from the perimeter ranking fifth and 10th respectively.
Defensively, they allow 115.1 points per game ranking 18th. Their opponents shoot 48.1% from the field and 38.0% from the perimeter ranking 23rd and 29th respectively.
Derrick Jones Jr. (ankle) is doubtful while Alex Caruso (right acromioclavicular sprain/concussion protocol), and Javonte Green (knee) are questionable for Wednesday. Lonzo Ball (knee) is out. Carlik Jones and Marko Simonovic are on G League assignment.
