The struggling Miami Heat will head north to take on the champs in Cleveland. The Eastern Conference foes are on opposite ends of the spectrum in the conference this year, but it is still a meaningful game for the Heat and at least one player on the Cavs.
The Miami Heat are a very different team than they were when LeBron left for his hometown, and their record shows it. They have lost three in a row and are only two spots from the bottom of the East.
The Cavaliers are rolling again after a rough patch last week. They come into this one on a two-game winning streak, including a 126-94 beatdown of the Knicks in Madison Square Garden Wednesday.
The Heat have fallen pretty far from where they were two years ago. They have lost their last three games, two of which were on the road. On Wednesday, they fell in Atlanta 103-95 to a much improved Hawks team.
The Heat have particularly struggled on the offensive side of the ball, and it is hard to see how they could hope to improve that with the current lineup.
Miami currently ranks 28th in the NBA in scoring with 97.3 points per game. They are tied for 12th in rebounding with 44.3 and 27th in assists with 20.0 a night. The Heat still have a solid defense; they allow only 99.7 points per game which ranks 6th in the league.
Goran Dragic leads Miami in scoring with 18.0 points per game along with 6.5 assists. Hassan Whiteside continues to improve and adds 17.6 points, 14.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per contest.
Justice Winslow contributes 11.6 points, 4.7 boards and 3.9 dimes.
The Cavs were a buzzsaw to start off 2016, but they struggled last week and dropped three games in a row. They also lost J.R. Smith to a leg injury. However, they have picked things back up over the last two games.
They demolished the Knicks on Wednesday and again look like a dominant force in the East.
The Cavs score 111.1 points per game which ranks them 3rd in the league. They are 10th in both rebounding and assists with 44.4 boards and 22.6 dimes per night.
Defensively, they allow 104.5 points per game which ranks them 16th.
Kyrie Irving leads Cleveland in scoring with 24.6 points per game. LeBron James scores 23.8 points, dishes 9.1 assists and collects 7.6 rebounds per contest.
Kevin Love adds 21.4 points and 10.3 rebounds a night.

Free Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Prediction:
The Cavs are clearly the better team in this one. The only real question is: how much will they win by? With the way they are rolling lately, and the way the Heat are playing on the road, I imagine they win by a good bit.
