Thursday, January 5th, the Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic play for the first of two meeting this season. Memphis will host the second contest on March 28th.
Both teams enter this match to complete a back-to-back set with the Grizzlies pounding the Hornets 131-107 while the Magic defeated the Thunder 126-115 on the front side of the set.

Defensively, Orlando holds their opponents to 113.9 points per game ranking 16th. The Magic allow opponents to shoot 47.3% from the field ranking 19th and foes shoot 34.1% from the perimeter ranking fifth overall.
The five players who already served their suspension for the Detroit bench-clearing altercation were listed as probable against the Thunder including Gary Harris, Wendell Carter Jr., Mo Bamba, Cole Anthony, and RJ Hampton.
Four others – Mo Wagner, Admiral Schofield, Franz Wagner, and Kevon Harris were expected to serve their suspension Wednesday.
Notably, because there were nine players suspended and four others already on the injury report the suspensions had to be staggered but all nine should be back for this contest.
Bol Bol (quarantine), and Jalen Suggs (ankle) are expected to be out Thursday while Chuma Okeke (knee) and Jonathan Isaac (knee) continue to remain out indefinitely.
