Lakers come into game four with a 2-1 lead after some late heroics from Lebron James leading his team to victory.
Portland has lost the last two games since Damian Lillard has sprained his thumb now the question asks if Dame was healthy what would this series look like.
Portland really needs this one to avoid falling down 3-1 against the Lakers and we all know that only one team ever has come back from a 3-1 to deficit.
Los Angeles Lakers
Lebron had his first classic game of the postseason. James poured in 38 points on 11 of 18 shooting to lead the Lakers in the scoring in game three of the series.
Anthony Davis also had a great game three putting up 29 points on 11 of 18 from the field. Davis was a +15 on the 40 minutes that he was on the court in game three.
Lakers will need consistent play from their role players too if they want to win this series. Kataveis Caldwell-Pope had 13 points on 4 of 13 shooting and he will definitely need to improve his shooting as the playoffs go on.
Portland Trail Blazers
The Blazers were in the thick of things until the end of game three when Lebron just took over and shut down their hopes of winning.
Damian Lillard put up 34 points on 8 of 20 shooting from the floor and was 5 for 11 from behind the arc. The Blazers need to get Gary Trent going in this series as he was lighting it up from the floor during the nine-play in games but has cooled off since game one against the Lakers.
CJ McCollum was the second-leading scorer in game three for the Blazers scoring 28 points in 42 minutes worth of work on 12 of 25 shooting from the field.
Carmelo has struggled in this series and needs to be a contributor if Portland wants to win here in game four. Anthony was averaging over 20 points in the regular season, but only 11 points per game in this series.
