Two Western Conference teams that are having very different seasons will face off this Sunday as the Golden State Warriors head to snowy Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Warriors have been the offensive juggernaut that they were expected to be this season.
They have only lost three games this year but will come into this one on the second night of a back-to-back. Golden State will take on the Grizzlies in Memphis on Saturday to go for their fifth win in a row before heading to Minneapolis.
The Timberwolves are on the opposite end of the spectrum and have not been close to what was expected of them this year. At 6-17, they are only one spot ahead of last place in the West.

Minnesota has lost four straight and seven of eight coming into this matchup against the #1 team in the NBA.
Golden State Warriors
The Warriors became the first team in the NBA to reach 20 wins this season after a 106-99 win over the Jazz in Utah on Thursday.
They have been the first team to reach the 20-win mark over the last three seasons have only seemed to get better.
They will play in Memphis against a very tough Grizzlies team on Friday for the first game of a back-to-back, so fatigue could be an issue in this one.
Unsurprisingly, the Dubs rank at or around the top in most offensive categories this year. They are 1st in points per game (119.3), 1st in field goal percentage (50.1%) and 4th in three-point percentage (38.1%).
They also rank 2nd in opponents field goal percentage (43.1%) and three-point defense (32.1%).

Kevin Durant leads the Warriors with 26.2 points per game along with 8.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. Stephen Curry scores 25.9 points and dishes 5.8 dimes a night.
Clay Thompson adds 22.0 points, while Draymond Green does everything with 10.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game.
Minnesota Timberwolves
With all the young, up-and-coming talent of the Minnesota Timberwolves, they were expected to take the next step this year and become a legitimate contender in the Western Conference.
For various reasons, that has not happened.
In fact, they seem to have regressed this year. They are in 14th in the West and have lost seven of their last eight games. The T-Wolves have the talent to turn it around, but they have shown no signs of doing so to this point.
Minnesota has been middle of the road in terms of offense this year. They rank 17th in points per game (103.7), 14th in field goal percentage (45.3%) and 17th in three-point percentage (34.5%).

Free Golden State Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves NBA Prediction:
It’s not hard to pick who will win this game; the only question really becomes the margin. The one disadvantage for the Warriors is that this will be their second road game in two nights, so fatigue could be an issue.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Warriors -10.5
The T-Wolves have the talent to keep up, but they have shown no indications that they can play as a unit and be competitive this year.
