The second match of Christmas Day features Stephen Curry bringing his perimeter shooting to Milwaukee to face the reigning MVP Giannis Antetoounmpo and his Bucks. Both clubs lost their season opener and are seeking their first victory of the 2020-21 campaign.
Last season, the squads only played once due to the pandemic with the Bucks claiming victory in a 107-98 January 8th outcome. The Bucks hold the all-time record having won 83 matches of the 138 played.

It’s likely Draymond Green (foot) won’t be available to go Friday and Alen Smailagic (knee) who didn’t play in the opener is also questionable.
Milwaukee Bucks
As the back-to-back MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo ended the dreams of several teams by committing to the Bucks via a super-max extension that will keep him in Milwaukee for the next six seasons.
His first game of this season didn’t go quite as planned however as his 35 points, 13 rebounds, and two assists were overshadowed by a missed free throw that would’ve sent the match to overtime.
Newcomer Jrue Holiday had a solid debut for his new club with 25 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
Khris Middleton was also effective with 27 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists. Donte DiVincenzo scored 15 as the only other double-digit scorer.

While the Jrue Holiday addition was a definite upgrade for the Bucks the bench depth is suddenly a question mark.
Milwaukee should still take this match but the question is whether 10 points is a bit too much of a cushion to expect from them.
