Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors Odds & Last 5
Last year, the Raptors won the season series, taking three of the four matches, and are up 2-1 in this campaign.
Brooklyn is a tanking squad who sit in the 13th position in the East with a record of 20-61. They enter the tanking pool hoping to get a lucky ping pong ball bounce and will all head out on vacation following this match.
Toronto enters the day in sixth with a record of 45-36. The Magic have an identical record, but own that tiebreaker (as they do versus the Hawks). Through the last five matches, the Dinos have performed to their identity, collecting three wins versus teams beneath them in the standings and losing to the upper echelon (Celtics/Knicks).
Toronto is favored by +22.5 points, with an over/under of 219 points.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors bottom line:
Toronto fell back to the sixth seed with the loss in New York. They can cement their playoff berth with a victory. After that, it comes down to how other teams perform, and that’s where things get interesting, as some squads have a vested interest in winning while others will be resting their cores.
For example, if the Hawks lose to the Heat, plus the Magic lose to the Celtics, and Toronto wins, they can grab the fifth seed. Miami does have a vested interest in winning because it can move up to ninth and gain homecourt for the play-in game if they defeat the Hawks, but Charlotte also has to lose to New York.
In the event of a Raptors loss, there are a number of scenarios that can play out, all of which will depend on what the Magic and Sixers do. At worst, Toronto finishes eighth.
But that’s semantics — for all intents and purposes, Toronto just needs to win and hope Atlanta/Orlando loses.

Nets Raptors Free Pick: Bet the over
Here is my Nets Raptors free pick.
Ironically, the Nets, who’ve tanked all season long, have nothing left to lose … literally. They’ll finish with the third-worst record whether they win or lose on Sunday. That means their youngsters won’t be held back from winning, and the coach could amp them up to play spoiler, albeit the core of the Nets are all on the injury report.
A win will get the Raptors a cemented playoff seed and a return to the postseason for the first time in four years. The only players remaining on the roster from that team is Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl.
Neither team feasts on the glass, but the Nets are particularly vulnerable there, so look for Toronto to take advantage by turning defensive rebounds into quick outlet passes and fast breaks.
Quickley should be back, but RJ Barrett and Collin Murray-Boyles remain question marks for this critical final game.
Still, I expect Toronto to take care of business, but I’m not fond of those huge spreads, as you know, so I’ll take the over.
