The Golden State Warriors will have their hands full on Tuesday night when receiving a visit from an experienced Boston Celtics team.
The Warriors enter Tuesday night’s contest on the back of a dominant 118-91 win against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. On the other hand, the Boston Celtics were handed a 1 point loss by the Los Angeles Lakers at home on Saturday when Kemba Walker and Daniel Theis both missed game winning opportunities at the buzzer.
Boston has slowly been losing their footing on their great start to the season. Courtesy of the last second 96-95 loss on Saturday Night, the Celtics have now lost 5 of their last 7 to sit at 10-8 overall with is only good enough for the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference.
SF Jayson Tatum was able to come up big once again with 30 points and 9 rebounds meanwhile his running mate Jaylen Brown continues his great year adding in 28 points himself.
Marcus Smart suffered a grade 1 calf strain in the 4th quarter last game and will unavailable for this one. This will require coach Brad Stevens to look to his bench to replace Smart’s production in not only the stat sheet but on the defensive end. Smart currently leads the Celtics with 6.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
Golden State Warriors
On Saturday night, Stephen Curry dropped 28 points and knocked down six 3-pointers on 11-of-17 shooting to help the Golden State Warriors surge past the Detroit Pistons. Kelly Oubre also had an impressive game, chipping in with 18 points and 6 rebounds.
Following a horrendous Thursday night defeat to the Phoenix Suns 114-93, the Golden State Warriors were able to clean things up, shooting 52% from the field and 47% from beyond the arc on Saturday against the Pistons.
In order for Golden State to continue their momentum and hopes of reaching the postseason once again the team will continue to need to play at a high level in support of Superstar Stephen Curry.
Curry leads the way with averages of 27.7 points 6.1 assists and 5.4 rebounds, Andrew Wiggins has slowly returned to form and sits as the second leading scorer with 17.7 points and 4.9 rebounds.

Free Boston Celtics vs. Golden State Warriors NBA Prediction:
Golden State and Boston has the probability of going down to the wire with Stephen Curry and Jayson Tatum going head to head in an individual battle for supremacy. It will all depend on whether or not Boston will be able to cope with Smart as he has served as the heart of the team similar to how Draymond Green has for the Warriors.
The line is not out yet which makes all the difference in betting this one as it should be a lower point differential. Nevertheless I like how Golden State is playing right now over Boston who has continued to slip, give me the Warriors.
