New York Yankees
The Yankees are sure to be a player in the American League this year if they are to stay healthy and unfortunately we are already seeing some cracks in the Yankees in terms of injuries. Giancarlo Stanton will be good to go for opening day, but the status of Aaron Judge is a little bit up in the air as he is currently listed as day to day for this contest.
Aaron Judge when healthy has legit 50+ home run upside as we saw in his rookie season, but he has suffered so many injuries that it is quite concerning to see him on the injury report before the season even starts.
Gerrit Cole will get the start here, and he is another reason to believe in the Yankees as a whole as he is a bonafide ace and I have no doubt he will be ready to go against a sneaky good batting lineup the the Jays bring in to Yankee Stadium this Thursday.
