The Texas Rangers are currently the #1 team in baseball, and will enter the hitter friendly Yankee Stadium with the 5th most runs scored in baseball.

The Rangers have scored well in most of the major hitting categories this year, sitting 12th in homeruns (96), 5th in runs (380), 5th in RBI (367) and 8th in average (.267).
They’ve received a resurgent year from former SS Ian Desmond, who has been converted to outfielder due to poor defense at short but is apparently loving it.
Desmond is thriving in Texas, with a .321 average, 14 HR, 51 RBI, .373 OBP and 96 total hits- all which lead the Rangers. AJ Griffin was once a highly touted prospect, initially coming up with the Oakland A’s before a delay due to Tommy John surgery.
He’s now back and looks like a solid mid-to-top rotation starter at the moment, with a 3.08 ERA and 1.13 WHIP.
The walks are a little high but he is rounding back into MLB form, but has passed the eye test to date.
New York Yankees
The once powerhouse Yankees currently sit in 4th in the AL East which and are one game below .500. Carlos Beltran has been great, and much like the aforementioned Desmond, he leads his respective club in all major hitting categories minus OBP.
Beltran, along with other veterans, will likely be traded before the deadline to a contender to stock the prospect pile for the Yankees.
Michael Pineda is a difficult pitcher to figure out, as he’s put together a strong Yankees career together so far until this season, where he owns a 5.51 ERA and 1.42 WHIP but leads the team with 98 strikeouts.
Maybe it’s just a down season, but leaving the hitter friendly Yankee stadium may be a positive should he be dealt as well.
