The AL West contending Astros look to pick up a big win at home this Tuesday as they welcome in the Rangers to Minute Maid Park for this one.

Texas Rangers

Most people did not have the Rangers doing much this season, but it is a bit surprising just how bad they are at 13-27, as they do have some decent players in their squad.

All the Rangers can now look to do here is give a favor to the Oakland Athletics and play for pride, as they take on their in-state rivals.

Kyle Cody gets the start here for the Rangers with a 0.93 ERA and an 0-1 record, but he usually does not go very far into the games, so do not be surprised if they call on the bullpen around the 3rd or 4th inning.

Houston Astros

The Astros are a shadow of their former self after this summer’s scandal, although they do remain in contention in their division. The bats are a big reason for their sub-par record, as they have struggled mightily compared to what they used to be as a unit.

You certainly would expect them to take care of the Rangers at home, but backing this team at low prices is probably not the way to go in 2020.

The Astros send Jose Urquidy to the mound on Tuesday who has a 0-1 record and a 3.72 ERA and those stats are not all that great, but this guy does have loads of talent and does get one of the best match ups in all of baseball this Tuesday.

I expect this one to stay close this Tuesday and getting a run and a half on the runline with the Rangers seems to be the way to go with a decent place-relief pitcher going up against a Houston team I do not believe in this year.
