Snell continues to dominate at the mound, this time he put in another quality start while picking up his eighth win of the season against the Seattle Mariners. He went six innings giving up seven hits and one earned run while only striking out one and walking two.

The lefty is finally putting it all together and is having a break-out season. His problem has always been his command owning a 4.04 BB/9, but this year he has that down to 2.73 BB/9 to go with a 9.73 K/9 and 85.0% LOB%. The end result is a solid 2.30 ERA and 3.31 FIP, but be weary he’s been a tad lucky with a .234 BABIP.

Tampa Bay has been playing mediocre baseball in the last week winning three of their seven contests. During that span their lineup is slashing .262/.312/.424 to go with 21 extra-base hits and 29 RBI.

New York Yankees

Loaisiga will be making his first start of his career against Tampa Bay. There will be some pressure, but he’ll have a top-five bull pen backing him up.
