Texas Rangers
The Texas Rangers, on the other hand, have not been so great as of late going 4-6 in their last 10 and looking pretty deflated in what looks to be a lost season.
If the Rangers were going to make any type of late season run it needed to start at the beginning of August as they now sit 13 games out of the AL Wild Card race.
One of the bright spots for this squad has been the pitching performances of Lance Lynn (14-9, 3.85 ERA) who has had a very solid year for the Rangers.
Despite having a nice overall season, the team is now 0-4 in his last 4 games and his last start was one of his worst. That last game was against the White Sox where he got hit all over the park to the tune of 7 earned runs and 11 hits in 5.2 innings pitched.
Lynn will be looking to bounce back here against a team that does not hit all that well and he will have the home faithful behind him.
