Rogers, who leads the MLB with 17 saves, took his first loss of the season.
JT Brubaker (0-4) allowed only one run (not earned) on six hits through five innings and recorded three strikeouts and two walks. He will be hoping for the first win of the season when he starts against Arizona next week. Anthony Banda was credited with his first victory of the season, while David Bednar got his ninth save.
LA Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers are red-hot right now; they won four consecutive series and will be looking to sweep the Arizona Diamondbacks for the second time this month when they close the series on Sunday. Over the last 14 games, the Dodgers got 12 wins and climbed back to the top of the NL with a 32-14 record.
Mookie Betts opened a game in Arizona with a leadoff homer, and although the D-Backs responded with a pair of runs in the 2nd, Los Angeles secured a 3-2 victory through Trea Turner and Will Smith in the 5th. Justin Turner was excellent in this one; the third baseman ended the tilt with 4/4, two doubles, and two singles. Tony Gonsolin (5-0) recorded his fifth win of the campaign after allowing two runs on four hits with seven K and no walks in 6.0 innings.
