Los Angeles Dodgers
The Yasiel Puig days seem to be over in LA, as he was DFA’d at the deadline when the team acquired Josh Reddick from the Oakland.
Recent additions also include starters Rich Hill, Bud Norris and relievers Casey Fien and Josh Fields, as the team tries to weather the Clayton Kershaw injury.
Scott Kazmir will start for the Dodgers and faces a favorable matchup at home against a Philadelphia Phillies team that ranks 28th overall in runs scored this season.
Kazmir enters with a 4.51 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with 126 Ks on the year in 121.2 innings.
He’ll look to get back to .500 with a win here.
