The Padres will start Chris Paddack for the series finale. The right-hander is 2-4 with a 4.24 ERA in 10 starts. He was hammered in his last start, giving up five runs on six hits in 4.1 innings to the Chicago Cubs.
Fernando Tatis leads San Diego with 17 homers and 39 runs driven in. Machado is now second on the team with 33 RBI and is second in homers with 7.

I expect another low scoring affair in the finale as both pitchers can show flashes of dominance and have been solid all year.
That being said I like the Mets in this one to pull the upset and even the series behind the arm of Stroman and the momentum they’re carrying in from yesterday.
