The Brewers will be in Atlanta to take on the Braves for game 3 of the NLDS. The first pitch is set for 1:07 ET on Monday.
There has been no announcement about the Milwaukee starter and Ian Anderson is going for the Braves.
These teams have split the first two games of this series. Atlanta won on Saturday by a score of 3-0.
Milwaukee Brewers
As the series shifts to Atlanta, the Brewers will try to get their offense going. So far through 2 games, it has been sluggish.
Milwaukee had their chances to come back on Saturday, but they could not get it done.
There were a few times late in Saturday’s game where this team rallied with men on base, but could not get that key hit. You have to give credit to the Atlanta starting pitching and bullpen.
Brandon Woodruff was solid on Saturday. He went 6 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Once again, he struggled to get run support.
There has been no official announcement about the starter for Monday. With that said, it would make sense that Freddy Peralta would get the start.
Throughout the year, the pitching for this team was a big strength of theirs. So far, that has been the case against the Braves.
The offense was also quite productive throughout the year, but it has not done much so far in this series. They will look to get back on track for game 3.
Hitting home runs have not been a big part of their game so far through 2 games. Rowdy Tellez did hit a bomb in game 1, however. This was a team that hit 194 of them in the regular season.
Atlanta Braves
After losing game 1, the Braves got back on track and split in Milwaukee. You cannot be upset with that if you are Brian Snitker and his squad.
On Saturday, Atlanta got the lead and never looked back. Granted, it was not a big one, but it proved to be big enough.
Austin Riley, who had a great regular season, had a key home run in the win on Saturday. He will look to have another good day on Monday.
Max Fried was tremendous on Saturday. The lefty went 6 innings, allowed no earned runs, and struck out 9 batters.
Ian Anderson was 9-5 with an ERA of 3.58. He did not get to pitch a lot this year due to injury, but he was good when did get a chance.
The pitching on this team really got better as the year went on and it has been very impressive so far in this series. It is no easy task to quiet the bats of Milwaukee.
Throughout the year, the offense was the best part of their game. Of course, it did enough to get the win on Saturday, but it will have to be better if they want to make a deep playoff run.
Atlanta relied a lot on the home run ball during the year. It definitely helped them in game 2.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Atlanta Braves MLB Prediction:
Before this series started, I was really looking forward to it. I thought it had the potential to be a very good one and so far it has not disappointed me. As of now, both teams seem like they are even.
Going to Atlanta will be no easy task, but I actually like the Brewers. It seemed like they were a little uptight in the first two games, especially in game 2. I think being at a different venue can be a good thing for them. Also, I just feel the Brewers are the better team and I am confident they will take care of business.
Even though there has been no announcement, I feel very confident that Freddy Peralta will get the start on Monday. He is the main reason I feel good about the Brewers. This guy was one of the better pitchers in the National League this year. I look for him to have a good game and have success against a tough lineup in Atlanta.
I am going with the Brewers on the road.
