Cleveland’s ace, the former Cy Young winner and current AL 2016 candidate, Corey Kluber, will take on the bottom of the AL West’s Angels team.

The Angels now sit firmly in last place in the AL West division and are nowhere near a wildcard spot with their 49-63 record.
While injuries have played a factor in their season of misery, the depleted depth and farm system is a large byproduct of poor asset management.
The game’s best player, Mike Trout, must be seriously considering asking for a trade if the situation doesn’t get better soon.
He’s now firmly in his prime as 25-years old and surely his competitive nature wants to start racking up pennants to his name, but the lack of depth and help around him questions whether that will happen in LA.

Cleveland was close to landing Jonathan Lucroy at the deadline, before he vetoed the deal, which would have seriously helped their playoff run.
As is, they added stud reliever Andrew Miller, but at a significant price having had to deal top-prospect Bradley Zimmer.
Cleveland’s rotation looks to be their strength, with ace Corey Kluber putting together another fine season with an 11-8 record, 3.22 ERA and 153 strikeouts.
He should have no problem handling the Angels’ lineup, as he’ll just need to avoid the two major threats in Trout and Albert Pujols.
