Arguably the best player in baseball, Mike Trout, and his LA Angels will take on the #1 team in baseball at Wrigley Field.

Weaver now owns a 5.11 ERA and 1.45 WHIP on the year, with just 64 strikeouts in 123.1 innings.

Chicago Cubs

If there was any holes on the Cubs team, they’ve done a great job of filling them through trades at the deadline.

Added are one of the top relief men in the game in Aroldis Chapman, the new closer in Chi-Town.

Joe Smith was also added to boost the pen, while Mike Montgomery was added but hasn’t had a good start to his Cubs career.

Jason Hammel is a nice luxury to have as a 5th starter, considering his 3.07 ERA and 1.10 WHIP on the year. He’s been great since joining the Cubs, with a sub-4.00 ERA and sub-1.20 WHIP in his time in Chicago.

If he can go deep into the 6th or 7th, the backend is as solid as they come to lock it down and garner Hammel win number-12.
