The Seattle Mariners will hope to move towards a third straight series victory when they begin a three-game set with the Kansas City Royals on Friday night at T-Mobile Park.

Flexen is consistently solid enough to keep his team in the game, and the Mariners’ superior lineup will make the difference in a good starting pitching matchup.
While Keller grades out as a similar starter to Flexen, Seattle has an advantage when it gets to the back end of the bullpen with flamethrowing youngster Andres Munoz joining an already strong group that includes Diego Castillo and Drew Steckenrider even with a few others on the IL.
Seattle has the far deeper lineup as well, which will grind out just enough production against Keller to pull out the victory.
