The Braves come into this one as the favorites with the total opening at 8.5. Astros manager Dusty Baker will send Cristian Javier to the mound, while Braves skipper Brian Snitker will give Spencer Strider the home start.
Houston Astros

Spencer Strider will get the ball Monday night for Atlanta. The second-year pitcher from Clemson has been pretty solid this season, posting a 7-4 record, with a 3.04 ERA and 142 strikeouts. Strider’s last outing, against these same Mets, ended pretty quickly, so look for a bounce back performance from him at home here, in what should be a hostile environment.
