The Cincinnati Reds come into this series off the back of a big win against Atlanta and they will now look to carry some of that momentum into this contest, as they take on the red-hot Phillies at Citizens Bank Park this Saturday.

I was thinking we were going to see some regression from this Reds offense, but that did not happen, as this team was able to put up 12 runs in that last match with the Braves which ended by a score of 12-3.
The Reds have really been boosted by the return of Nick Castellanos, as he has been one of the leaders in the clubhouse and one of their better hitters who can provide both power and a high on base percentage.
Cincinnati will go with Luis Castillo here and he will need to bounce back here off of a rough outing last time out, and he has that ability as we know he has awesome upside but has struggled mightily with consistency throughout his career.
Philadelphia Phillies
The Phillies did not have the best series against the Dodgers, as they lost that one by a score of 2-1, but they have been on a roll from an overall perspective as they have won 9 of their last 11 games.
Bryce Harper has been on fire during the second half of the season and he now has 21 home runs and a fantastic OBP of .413 so he really has been a catalyst for getting this team to the top of the NL East.
It will be interesting to see who is pitching in this spot for the Phillies, as they do not have a listed starter as of yet, but they do have plenty of solid arms and this starting rotation is a top 10 unit in the entire league, so they should be able to compete with Castillo on the other side of the equation.

The only time the Phillies have struggled recently has been against the Dodgers as well, which can kind of be forgiven as the dodgers are the absolute elite of the elite and that is even more true after the trade deadline.
