The Braves lead the series 1-0 after a roller coaster of a contest in game one of the series. Both teams were scoreless entering the 13th inning before Freddie Freeman walked it off for Atlanta.
Cincinnati Reds
It’s do or die now for the Reds coming into Thursday’s game with the Braves.
The Reds lack of offense has been their Achillies heel al season as they can’t get runners across the plate. Cincinnati pushes across 27% of runners that reach base for them which is the lowest mark in the MLB for quite a margin.
David Bell will send out Luis Castillo to try and save their season. Castillo was terrible to begin the season but has been great since returning for the IR. He finished the regular season with a 4-6 record to go with a 3.34 ERA.
Atlanta Braves
Freddie Freeman was the hero in game one for Atlanta driving in the winning run in the 13th inning with two on and one out. The Braves are going to need to drive in some more runs to win game two as they won’t have Max Fried back on the mound to shut down the Reds lineup.
As a team, the Braves had the number one scoring offense in the regular season and they have yet to show that through one game in the postseason. Lucky for them they only needed one run to get it done on Wednesday. Atlanta scored an average of 5.80 runs per game to lead the MLB.
Brian Schnitker has yet to announce who will be starting the game for the Braves so look out for his announcement before the game.

Free Cincinnati Reds vs. Atlanta Braves MLB Prediction:
I like to the Reds to tie this series up as the Braves don’t have the greatest starting pitching following Max Fried. Luis Castillo was really bad to start the season but finished on a high note. I think he will be able to put in a quality start while the Reds bats wake up and drive in some runs. Cincinnati has now not scored in 23 consecutive innings and I think it’s about time that changes.
