Here’s a look at the Washington Redskins’ schedule for the upcoming season.

Week 1: Sun, Sept. 13 vs. Dolphins

The Redskins’ revamped offensive line will be tested in a big way in the opener against the Dolphins, who will be showing off their prized offseason acquisition, Ndamukong Suh.

Week 2: Sun, Sept. 20 vs. Rams

A second consecutive home game for the Redskins to start the year. This one will have a little extra meaning for Robert Griffin III, who was drafted by the Redskins using a second overall selection acquired from the Rams. St. Louis sent out the six players acquired in the deal out for the coin toss when the teams met a year ago.

Week 3: Thurs, Sept. 24 at Giants

The Redskins’ first road game comes in New York, where they typically struggle. It comes on a short week in a nationally televised game to boot. The Giants beat Washington 45-14 on Thursday Night Football a year ago.

Week 4: Sun, Oct. 4 vs. Eagles

A second consecutive divisional matchup early in the year. The Eagles’ new look rushing attack figures to have its legs under it by this point.

Week 5: Sun, Oct. 11 at Falcons

The Falcons’ sideline will be littered with former Redskins coaches, including Kyle Shanahan and Raheem Morris. Matt Ryan and the Falcons’ passing attack will be the bigger concern.

Week 6: Sun, Oct. 18 at Jets

A second consecutive road game and the Jets figure to be just as hard-nosed under Todd Bowles as they were under Rex Ryan. This will be a tough one that will play a physical toll on Washington.

Week 7: Sun, Oct. 25 vs. Buccaneers

The Redskins get to play host to No. 1 draft pick Jameis Winston. Even without him, the Buccaneers upended the Redskins by a score of 27-7 last season.

Week 8: BYE

Week 9: Sun, Nov. 8 at Patriots

The Redskins have actually fared quite well against the Patriots, holding a 6-3 all-time record in the series, but the last meeting was in 2011 and they haven’t made the trip out to Foxborough since 2007.

Week 10: Sun, Nov. 15 vs. Saints

The Saints may be in a rebuild mode, but the Redskins are surely happy they don’t have to travel to the Superdome.

Week 11: Sun, Nov. 22 at Panthers

These teams met a year ago in a game that was closer than many expected it to be. The Panthers won 21-13, but the setting shifts to Carolina this time around.

Week 12: Sun, Nov. 29 vs. Giants

The Giants were the only divisional opponent to sweep the Redskins a year ago. One of those games saw Odell Beckham Jr. haul in three touchdown passes.

Week 13: Mon, Dec. 7 vs. Cowboys

When these teams met in a prime-time matchup a year ago, the Redskins emerged victorious on the back of a solid performance from Colt McCoy.

Week 14: Sun, Dec. 13 at Bears

A short week to prepare for what will surely be a cold game in Chicago.

Week 15: Sun, Dec. 20 vs. Bills

The Bills will bring a familiar face with them to Washington in the form of new addition LeSean McCoy.

Week 16: Sat, Dec. 26 at Eagles

This game will be the Redskins’ third prime-time matchup against a divisional opponent. These teams met on a Saturday in Week 16 last season, and the Eagles emerged victorious by a score of 27-24.

Week 17: Sun, Jan 3 at Cowboys

A second consecutive divisional matchup on the road for the Redskins. These teams met in Week 17 of last season and the Cowboys rolled 44-17.
