The Colts knocked off the Bengals in the AFC Wild Card Game and then went on to upset Peyton Manning and Broncos in the Conference Semi-Finals. Their luck ran out against New England the AFC Championship Game when they were wiped away 45-7.

The Colts have to be thanking the schedule makers in 2015. Everything seemed to fall into place for them and they should have an easy route to their 3rd straight division title barring any major injuries.

Colts Regular-Season Schedule (all times Eastern)

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 13, at Buffalo, 1 p.m.

The Colts luck out here with opening up at Buffalo. Playing in a dome, the Colts avoid a lot of cold weather. Having to go on the road in 2015 to play Buffalo could be a lot worse had this meeting been late in the season. Temperatures are typically freezing and the blizzards can cause a lot of problems.

Buffalo will be rocking, but Andrew Luck doesn’t have to deal with weather conditions and gets the Colts to 1-0.

Week 2: Monday, Sept. 21, NY Jets, 8:30 p.m.

For the 2nd straight season, the Colts open up at home on a Monday Night. The Jets are expected to be better in 2015, but they are still far away from Colts level.

The Jets struggle to move the ball and Andrew Luck connects to TY Hilton multiple times in a Colts route.

Indianapolis goes to 2-0.

Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 27, at Tennessee, 1 p.m.

Division games on the road are tough, but Tennessee really doesn’t have a lot to offer. The Colts had very little problem handling Tennessee in both match ups last year. The Titans still should be pumped up for this game since it’s so early in the season, but the Colts should be able to come out a winner.

Indy goes to 3-0.

Week 4: Sunday, Oct. 4, Jacksonville, 1 p.m.

This is a similar scenario like the one with the Titans.

Jacksonville will have a solid duo with Blake Bortles at QB and TJ Yeldon at RB. They will cause some teams some fits, especially when they develop some solid chemistry.

However, this early in the season will still be a struggle.

The Colts handle business at home and go to 4-0.

Week 5: Thursday, Oct. 8, at Houston, 8:25 p.m.

This will be the first tough test for the Colts. Going on the road for a primetime game, especially in division is never easy.

[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Houston signed Brian Hoyer in the offseason, who succeeded for most of the 2014 season with the Browns. He’ll still have to compete with Ryan Mallet who will be right on his heels.

With the National spotlight on this one, Houston grabs a much needed win at home and sends the Colts to loss number 1.

Week 6: Sunday, Oct. 18, New England, 8:30 p.m.

The Colts can’t really have revenge on their mind from last season’s AFC Championship meeting as they were just absolutely ran out of Gillette Stadium

However, they get home field advantage here and will put up a much better performance here.

The Colts grab a clutch win in front of the national audience to move to 5-1.

Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 25, New Orleans, 1 p.m.

New Orleans definitely regressed this offseason. They traded away Jimmy Graham and will rely heavily on Drew Brees.

Brees’ claim to fame is that he plays much better indoors and will be inside a dome here in Week 7.

The Saints passing attack is too much for the Colts and they fall to 5-2.

Week 8: Monday, Nov. 2, at Carolina, 8:30 p.m.

Another National TV game for the Colts, this time away against Cam Newton and Carolina.

The Panthers duel threat QB can cause a lot of teams problems and the Colts are definitely going to be frustrated here.

Newton rolls over the Colts and pushes them to 5-3.

Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 8, Denver, 4:25 p.m.

This game will have a bit of revenge factored into it as Peyton Manning gets a chance to get back at the Colts for eliminating him last season.

It’s tough to see how Manning will play this coming season as he’s shown many signs of fatigue.

The Colts grab this win heading into the bye week to get to 6-3.

Week 10: BYE

Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 22, at Atlanta, 1 p.m.

Atlanta has always been a tough team to beat, especially inside the Georgia Dome.

Matt Ryan has many targets like Roddy White and Julio Jones that cause secondaries headaches.

The Colts will use the bye week to game plan a way to stop the deep routes and will do just enough to get to 7-3.

Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 29, Tampa Bay, 1 p.m.

Tampa Bay will look to rookie QB Jameis Winston to lead them in 2015. Winston will have a lot of growing pains to deal with, but should be somewhat settled in by Week 12.

He likely won’t give the Colts many fits here, as Indianapolis rolls at home to go to 8-3.

Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 6, at Pittsburgh, 8:30 p.m.

The Colts and Steelers played one of the most entertaining, high scoring games last season. While they won’t hit the totals they hit in 2014, we will still get to see two of the best QBs in the game go at it.

With Pittsburgh likely battling for a AFC North division title here, they’ll need to win this game.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

The Colts fall on National TV and go to 8-4.

Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 13, at Jacksonville, 1 p.m.

The Colts finish the season with 3 of 4 against divisional opponents. This will be the first of 3 and this is where the Colts really turn it on. If there is any question about winning their 3rd straight division title to this point, they’ll remove all doubt down the stretch.

Indianapolis goes to 9-4.

Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 20, Houston, 1 p.m.

The 2nd of 3 games against AFC South teams. If Houston doesn’t have Hoyer or Mallet solidified as a starter yet, they’ll likely be out of the division race.

Regardless, the Colts will have no problem at home and move to 10-4.

Week 16: Sunday, Dec. 27, at Miami, 1 p.m.

This game could have playoff implications for both teams. Miami will likely be fighting for a Wild Card spot and the Colts could be going for playoff seeding.

Ryan Tannehill has really settled himself into the starting role in Miami and has proven he can beat good teams.

The Dolphins win here and push the Colts to 10-5.

Week 17: Sunday, Jan. 3, Tennessee, 1 p.m.

The Colts should clinch by this point, but will likely be playing to avoid the Wild Card game here. Tennessee really doesn’t have enough to make a playoff push yet so they’ll have a lot of subs playing in this one.

Indianapolis wins easily to go to 11-5.

The Colts at 11-5 will easily win the AFC South, but it will be tough to forecast whether or not that will get them a first round bye. Staying healthy will be the biggest key for them in 2015 as they have an easy schedule and should cruise to a division title.
