The St. Louis Blues needed a huge second-half surge last season en route to winning the first Stanley Cup in franchise history, and they hardly look like a team ready to relinquish that title. They are currently the top team in the West.
They face a worthy opponent in this one though. Dallas overcame a dreadful start and surged up the standings in the Central Division, closing within four points of St. Louis on the heels of a franchise-record seven-game winning streak that was snapped in a 3-0 loss at Chicago on Tuesday.
Before that loss Dallas also had a 12 game (!) point streak going on. They are certainly playing great hockey and will be tough to beat.
I am extremely excited about this matchup and I think it will be one of the best games on the day’s slate.

St. Louis Blues
The St. Louis Blues are battling the injury bug at the moment. Already missing forwards Tarasenko, Alexander Steen and Sammy Blais, St. Louis absorbed another hit when Oskar Sundqvist was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
As a result St. Louis recalled F Austin Poganski from San Antonio of the American Hockey League. Their offense is looking thin right now in terms of depth.
Luckily they have had great offensive output out of David Perron, Brayden Schenn, And Ryan O’Reilly. The Blues definitely have enough offensive talent on the ice tomorrow to win this one.
Starting in goal for the St. Louis Blues will likely be Jordan Binnington. His stats on the season are: 12-4-4 W-L | 2.27 GAA | 0.925 SV% | 1 SO
Dallas was limited to two goals or fewer seven times during its dismal 1-7-1 start to the season but scored at least four goals eight times during the just-concluded 12-game point streak.
Tyler Seguin, Miro Heiskanen, Alex Radulov, have all been carrying the load offensively. They started extremely slow but have been having some big games as of late.
I still think Tyler Seguin will have a hot streak soon. His shooting percentage is just too low at the moment (6.7%). Maybe this is the game he scores a few.
Probable netminder Ben Bishop has not lost in his last seven starts (6-0-0) and is 2-2-0 with eight goals allowed in his last four against St. Louis.

Free St. Louis Blues vs. Dallas Stars NHL Prediction:
The Stars are playing really good hockey right now, it’s hard to go against them. I think the lack of scoring depth hurts the Blues in this one, and that the Stars pull out a low scoring victory. THe under is also appealing!
