The Tom Brady regime will begin down in the bayou as he is playing for another team for the first time in his career. Brady spent 20 years with the Patriots and won’t have Bill Belichick on the sidelines for the first time ever.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay hasn’t reached the playoffs since the 2007 season but hopefully, those tides will change as they just acquired the best quarterback of the generation possibly ever to exist. Brady had a less than stellar 2019 to his standards has his team was short of receivers while he was in New England.
Brady won’t have to worry about the shortage of receivers in Tampa as Chris Goodwin and Mike Evans are two of the top-10 receivers in the league. In 27 games last season, Evans and Goodwin had over a combined 2400 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns on the year. Not even one Patriot receiver eclipsed 1000 yards in 2019 and Brady now has two of them.
A surprise to everyone this year is that Rob Gronkowski returned to football to team up with his old buddy in Florida. Gronk hasn’t played a game since the Super Bowl in 2019 and will hopefully make a bigger impact than he did in the last two years prior to retirement.

Defensively, the Bucs were very solid in 2019 as they were the best team in the league at stopping the run with allowing just 73.8 yards per game. Shaq Barrett just signed the franchise tag making him the highest-paid defensive player on the team. Barrett was the NFL leader in sacks last season with 19.5 on the year. Shaq had 12.5 sacks through just 8 games last year so watch out for him to have an even bigger year in 2020.
New Orleans Saints
Everyone is wondering if this is going to be Drew Bree’s last season as that is what the media is speculating. After another early exit in the playoffs in 2019 people are wondering if Brees has the same love for the game he once had.
Sean Payton brings back a lot of starters on both sides of the ball and even some new faces that will help them try to reach the big stage. Emanuel Sanders joins Michael Thomas in the receiver room to help Brees add some more targets.
Alvin Kamara will look to have a bounce-back season after a less than productive 2019. Kamara had 1369 yards in 2019, but only six touchdowns as he will try to get into the end-zone more as he inked that brand new deal.
Saints are poised to have one of the best secondaries in the league with Janoris Jenkins and Marshon Lattimore at the corners. They also grabbed veteran Malcolm Jenkins in free agency to help back up the defense. Jenkins was on the team in the 2009 Super Bowl run.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Tampa Bay +3.5
It seems like every year that the Saints have a home game and end up getting crushed by a random team. Even though the Bucs aren’t random sleepers anymore with the addition of Tom Brady I think Tampa Bay absolutely dominates New Orleans for all four quarters and wins pretty easily.
