4* Free Week 1 NFL Betting Prediction: Cleveland -1.5
Even though the Browns’ offense was near the middle of the pack last pre-season, look for them to put together a good performance vs. the Jets.
We get to see Watson back on the field in this one (hopefully) as the QB only played six games in 2022/23. He’s got some new playmakers he needs to get on the same page with, so I’m expecting to see a few good drives with Watson, Moore & Goodwin out there together.
He’ll be protected by what is arguably a Top 5 NFL O-Line, and I don’t have many concerns about Watson getting hit too much in preseason. They’ll have his back…and front. On the other side, we don’t expect to see Aaron Rodgers on the field in this one. (unless we hear otherwise)
All in all, we recommend taking the Browns to win straight-up and cover at -1.5.
