Two first-place teams will be squaring off in Seattle this weekend as the Giants will travel to Lumen Field to take on the Seahawks. The Giants hung on to beat the Bengals their last time on the field 19-16 after they lost Daniel Jones for most of the second half, while Seattle took down the Eagles on Monday night football 23-17.
New York Giants
The Giants claimed first place in the NFC East after their win against Cincinnati over the weekend. Some bad news for the Giants though as they might be without Daniel Jones this week due to a hamstring injury in the second half against the Bengals. Colt McCoy is the Giants backup and he might be starting for the G-Men.
Colt McCoy hasn’t started a game in over a year since playing for the Washington Football team a season ago. The last time that Colt won a game was back in 2014 for Washington. For his career, he has thrown for 6111 yards to go along with a 29:27 TD to INT ratio.
New York is going to need their receivers to step up and get some YAC in this game if they want any shot at taking down Seattle without Daniel Jones. Darius Slayton leads the team in receiving yards with 584 on the season and also has the most receiving touchdowns on the team with three.

Defensively, the Giants have been solid all season. They are allowing teams to score an average of 23.0 points per game this season which is good for 9th in the NFL. They allow an average of 95.36 rushing yards per game and 244.72 passing yards per game this season.
Seattle Seahawks
Since suffering back-to-back wins for the first time all season the Seahawks have rattled off two wins in a row and will look to make it a third against the Giants on Sunday. Seattle is coming off another dominating win against Philadelphia and now have reclaimed their first place spot in the NFC West heading into this week.
Russell Wilson is a top-three MVP candidate for this season and will continue to add to his campaign this weekend. Wilson has completed 278 of 393 passes for 3216 yards this season to go with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He has the second-most touchdowns in the league just two behind Aaron Rodgers for the lead.
On offense, Seattle is averaging 31.0 points per game which is good for third in the NFL. D.K Metcalf has emerged as a top wideout in the league this season after having some monster performances on a weekly basis. Metcalf leads the NFL in receiving yards with 1039 this season and has been on the other end of nine receiving touchdowns which leads the team.
On the defensive side of the ball, Seattle has not been the best all season. They have allowed 27.6 points per game which is 26th in the NFL. But over the last two weeks, they have looked pretty solid since getting some key players back from injury. Over their two game winning streak, Seattle has limited opponents to 19.0 points per game and seem like they are putting everything together at the right time.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Seahawks -10
I like Seattle in this one to be able to cover the number. Giants are most likely going to be without Daniel Jones, so that leaves Colt McCoy in the starting job for New York. Colt is probably a great guy, but he’s not very good at football. Russell Wilson is chugging along on his MVP campaign and DK helped him out with 200 yards on Monday. I think that he will realize the opportunity he has to pour on some votes with a commanding victory over a top-10 ranked defense. Give me Seattle and the points because of the spot/situation the Giants are facing on Sunday.
