Drew Brees looks to continue his strong start to the season in a road game against the Giants. Eli Manning are looking to start the season 2-0 under new head coach Ben McAdoo.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET with QB Drew Brees leading the Saints and Eli Manning leading the Giants against him.
Both QBs had great first games and this one may turn into a shootout if both offenses can keep clicking.
New Orleans Saints
Drew Brees had an excellent game against the Raiders throwing for 4 touchdowns and over 400 yards passing. The Giants defensive secondary was terrible last season and it would be no surprise to see Brees pick them apart this week.
Playing catch up forced the Saints to abandon the running game, as Mark Ingram only had 12 touches for 58 yards.
I expect more of the same this week as the Saints will look to score early and often to put more pressure on Eli and the Giants own passing game.
Brandin Cooks had an amazing game last week as he dominated Oakland’s secondary for 6 receptions 143 yards and 2 TD’s.
Expect Willie Snead to continue his hot start as well against a weak DB unit for the Giants (9 rec for 172yds and 1 TD in week 1).
The Saints defense should fare better this week against the Giants, who have not been able to execute their offense as a Green Bay Packers clone as they would have liked.
Derek Carr isn’t Eli, but he did throw for over 300 yards and a score. The Saints pass rush must get to Eli this week, as they didn’t have a sack against the Raiders O-line.
New York Giants
While the yardage wasn’t necessary as high as you would expect, throwing for 3 touchdowns in a hostile Dallas environment charged up by a rookie QB is no easy task.
Eli performed well in the road victory and coming home he should have another good game.
The Saints defense does not seem to have improved at all from last season, as the secondary still needs a lot of improving for them to be a contender in the NFC.
I think another 3 TD’s with 300 yards passing is not out of the question.
Rashard Jennings (18 carries 75 yards) and Shane Vereen ( 6 carries for 38 yards), were both able ot make plays against the Dallas D-line.
Even though this matchup will focus on the QBs both of these backs will be able to attack the Saints defense on the ground and through the air out of the backfield.
Odell Beckham Jr had an average game y his standards, with 4 catches for 73 yards. I expect him to get his first 2 TDs of the season this week and go over 120 yards receiving.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Giants ATS & the over
The Giants will go to 2-0 after a back and forth matchup of two of the smartest offensive minds in the NFL. This one can be in the high 30’s by the 2nd quarter if both offenses can come out and execute.
NFL Free Score Prediction: New York 42 – New Orleans 35
Brees will have another good game, but Eli makes more big throws and avoids the Eli mistakes and the Giants pick up the home W.
