The Los Angeles Rams will be on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, January 2nd. The kickoff is set for 1:00 ET.
Los Angeles picked up a win in week 16, while Baltimore picked up a loss.
The Rams started off as a 2.5 point favorite and that number is now up to 3.5. The total has gone from 45.5 to 46.5.
Los Angeles Rams
Despite looking shaky at times, the Rams have had a very good season so far. They will certainly be in the mix when all is said and done.
Los Angeles picked up an impressive win over the Vikings on Sunday by a score of 30-23. They will look to carry that over when they go on the road once again.
This team has a good record, but they are most concerned about winning the Super Bowl. They did not acquire Matthew Stafford to be a good team. The pressure is really on them because if they do not win the whole thing, people will consider them to be a bust.
In the win over Minnesota, the aforementioned Stafford went 21/37 for 197 yards with 1 touchdown and 3 picks. It is amazing his team won the game considering how poorly he looked. He will need to be much better on Sunday and I am confident that he can be.
The defense is not quite as good as it was last year, but it still has been one of the better ones in the league. I was impressed for the most part with the way this unit played on Sunday. No matter who the quarterback is for the Ravens, I think they can play well on that side of the ball against them.
Baltimore Ravens
We are starting to see that the Ravens are really not all that good of a team and the people who were very high on them earlier, should be eating their words right about now. This is a football that team is very flawed and it is showing in the way they play.
Baltimore got crushed by the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday by a score of 41-21. That is two times this year that they have looked very bad when going against their division rival in Cincy.
Technically, this team is still in it, but it does not look great for them. A lot of things are going to have to go their way for them to make it past the regular season.
Josh Johnson went 28/40 for 304 yards with 2 touchdown passes and 1 pick on Sunday. He did not play badly for a backup, but this team desperately needs Lamar Jackson back on the football field.
People have really got to stop praising this defense because they are not that good and it is evident when they face off with good offenses. Joe Burrow absolutely torched this unit to the tune of over 500 yards. Just saying, good defenses do not allow that kind of stuff to happen.

4* Free Week 17 NFL Betting Prediction: Ravens +3.5
This is a game that is hard to predict because of the uncertain status at the quarterback position for the Ravens. Clearly, if Lamar Jackson plays, Baltimore has a much better chance.
Even with that said, the Rams are the better team and they need to show that. It will not be easy for them to do that, however.
Baltimore is going to need their offense to be good in this game because I am not so not sure that their defense can keep a potent offense in Los Angeles in check. I would not be surprised if there is a good amount of scoring in this one.
Of course, I would feel better with the Ravens to cover if they had their starting quarterback, but I still like it if they have to play a backup. It may seem like an ugly pick, but you cannot always go with the public play.
Just a few weeks ago, we saw this Ravens team go toe to toe with the Packers when they were a dog. Again, I am not saying they win this game, but I look for the home team to make some adjustments and play much crisper and sharper than they did in their game last week.
I am going with Baltimore getting 3.5 points here.
