The new-look Buccaneers will host the Chargers at Raymond James Stadium this Sunday in Week 4 of the NFL season. The Bucs are coming off a commanding win over the Broncos 28-10, while the Chargers took a loss against the Carolina Panthers.
Los Angeles Chargers
It looks like it’s going to be the Justin Herbert show for the time being with Tyrod Taylor being sidelined due to an injury caused by the training staff. Herbert hasn’t looked too bad for a rookie in his first two starts and even managed to bring to the Chiefs to overtime.
Herbert has completed 57 of 82 passes for 641 yards to go with his two touchdowns and two interceptions in his first two career games. He was the sixth overall draft pick in the 2020 draft and the third QB taken off the board.
Joshua Kelly has been a surprise for the Chargers this season. The rookie out of UCLA is second on the team in rushing with 167 yards on the ground and is tied for the most rushing touchdowns on the team.

The Chargers took a big loss after the game on Sunday with the news that they are going to have to place pro-bowl corner Chris Harris Jr. on IR. Harris was signed in the offseason and was supposed to torture offenses with Derwin James in the secondary all season. With James and Harris both out now the Los Angeles secondary is very weak.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bruce Arian’s squad is back on track since their loss against the Saints in the team’s debut. The Bucs have won two in a row and are looking to make it a third this upcoming weekend against the Chargers.
Tom Brady has looked great since struggling in his Bucs debut. Brady has completed 71 of 109 passes for 753 passes to go along with his six touchdowns and three interceptions.
Mike Evans has yet to have a breakout game this season and with the Chargers secondary being more vulnerable this game look for him to do some damage. Evans has just 108 receiving yards on the year but does have four scores to his credit on the season.
Buccaneers have one of the greatest rushing defenses in the entire league and they are going to need it this upcoming week. The Chargers love to run on early downs. About 48% of the Charger’s first-down plays are running plays and the Buc’s need to anticipate the run in this game. Shaq Barrett proved last year he is one of the best players in the defensive front as he led the league in sacks with 19.5 last season.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Buccaneers -7
I think Brady and the Bucs are going to pick apart this Chargers secondary as they are missing two of their best defensive players. Tom is starting to get used to this Buccaneers offense and it’s about time that they put up a high scoring game. Mike Evans has yet to get it going but I like him to take advantage of Chris Harris Jr’s absence. Give me Tampa Bay to cover the -7 and the get win to move to 3-1 on the season.
