Kansas City Chiefs
No letdown for the Chiefs in Week 15 after winning in New England; they beat Denver, 23–3, for their fourth win in a row.

The defense has given up thirty-five points over the course of the winning streak, which began immediately after the defense gave up a season-high thirty-five in a Week 10 loss to Tennessee.
Patrick Mahomes didn’t miss many throws against Denver but many of the ones he did were in and around the red zone. Kansas City’s first score went to Tyreek Hill from forty-one yards out. Two short field goals and a third of medium length made it 15–3 at halftime.
Then Mahomes got one to Hill from inside the ten-yard line to open the third and the game’s scoring was over. The Chiefs punted it out from there with an interception mixed in.
Chicago Bears
In their seven wins, the Chicago Bears are averaging just over fifteen points per game allowed. Their two most recent wins — over the Lions and Cowboys in Weeks 13 and 14, respectively — are their only two in which the defense gave up more than fifteen.

It gave up twenty to the Lions and twenty-two to the Cowboys. Then it gave up twenty-one in a loss to the Packers this week past.
It wasn’t a bad showing against Aaron Rodgers. The Packers punted seven times and turned it over on downs twice.
Rodgers pegged one to Davante Adams early in the first and Aaron Jones scored on back-to-back drives to begin the third. Rodgers took just one sack and the Beard didn’t turn it away.
All year, Chicago has just eight interceptions and eleven fumble recoveries. Last season, it had twenty-seven picks and twenty recoveries. It scored on five of those plays. This season, the defense has only scored once.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: it stays close throughout, under comes in.
The Chiefs offense hasn’t been struggling but it hasn’t had that dynamic feel about it, at least not consistently.
Last season, it felt like every time Mahomes got the ball, he would lead a touchdown drive. His offense has certainly looked every bit as dominant for stretches of games this season but then it disappears for a while, too, in a way it never did a year ago.
So this one should stay low. The Chiefs haven’t given up more than two touchdowns in a while and there isn’t any great evidence to suggest that the Bears will be up for it on Sunday Night.
So this handicapper leans under though he doesn’t feel any special conviction to go out and make the play. He can see instances where either the Chiefs blow up for thirty-plus or Mitchell Trubisky plays well and the Bears win a game that gets over.
