They could still pick up the top seed in the NFC and they need a win in this game to make it happen. Coming into this game they have won four games in a row and the defense is getting back up to speed.
Against the Vikings they gave up only 10 points and if that defense continues to be strong, they are going to be a real threat in the playoffs.
In this game it’s all going to be about the defense. If the defense is strong they are going to have no issue winning this game.
Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions had high expectations coming into this season but injuries and poor play have derailed their season.
The Lions started off the season strong and there was hope this would be the year they could compete for the NFC North but that quickly fell off. Coming into this game they have lost eight games in a row, and it’s going to take a perfect game to win this one.
At quarterback the Lions are led by David Blough who has shown some struggles especially with the interceptions he has thrown. In the four starts he has had five interceptions, and in this game he needs to not have any turnovers if they want to come away with a win.
In this game the defense is also going to need to step up their game. If the defense can slow down the running game first and put the ball in Aaron Rodgers it still might not be enough.
The Lions need to probably hold the Packers under 20 points to come away with a victory.
