The Dallas Cowboys will be on the road to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday, January 8th. The kickoff is set for 8:15 ET.
Dallas lost in week 17, while Philadelphia picked up a win.
The Cowboys opened up as a 3.5 point favorite and that number is now up to 5.5. The total has gone from 44.5 to 42.5.
Dallas Cowboys
When it comes to just wins and losses, the Cowboys have had a good year, but it just seems like something is missing with this team. If I were a fan of this team, I would not feel all that great with this group.
Dallas dropped to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday by a score of 25-22. It was a game they could have won, but they were just never able to get into a good enough rhythm to win the ball game.
Heading into the last week of the season, I do not feel like this team is one of the best in the NFC. It is going to be hard sledding for this bunch come playoff time, especially if they have to go on the road in the frozen tundra.
Dak Prescott went 24/38 for 226 yards with 3 touchdown passes on Sunday. You can call it a slump or whatever you want, but the reality is, he has not looked like himself for a long time now and it is eventually going to cost his team.
I have still been impressed with the way their defense has played this year. It may seem weird to say, but they have played better on that side of the ball than on offense.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles continue to be one of the weirdest teams in the league. You never truly know what to expect from them when it comes a week to week.
Philadelphia beat the Washington Football team on Sunday by a score of 20-16. It did not look good for them at the beginning, but they figured out a way to get the victory, which is the most important thing.
Listen, I do not feel they are a great team, but if they were to get in the playoffs, I do feel they could give some teams trouble. I do not feel anyone would want to face this group when the regular season is over.
In the win over Washington, Jalen Hurts was 17/26 for 214 yards with 0 picks and 0 touchdowns. He was not flashy, but he did what he had to do to help his team secure the win.
I know this unit has faced a lot of criticism this season, but I have been impressed with the way this defense has been playing as of late. Granted, they have not faced anyone great, but the play on that side of the ball has looked better. They will be in for a big challenge when they face a good offense in the Cowboys.

4* Free Week 18 NFL Betting Prediction: Over 42.5
Obviously, this is an important game for both teams, but it is more so for the Eagles. They have to take care of business on Saturday if they want a chance to make it past the regular season.
I definitely expect a revenge factor in this game for Philly. When these teams met earlier on in the year, it did not go well for them at all and they certainly remember that.
The Dallas offense looked very flat on Sunday, but I do feel they can be better on Saturday. At the end of the day, we know this is a good offense and they have the ability to score a lot of points at any given time.
Look, the defense for the Cowboys has been excellent this year, but they are still vulnerable when they face a good offense. I expect the offense for Philadelphia to be locked in and I do feel they can have success on that side of the ball, especially with the running game.
I am not telling you this is going to be a 45-42 shootout, but I do feel that a good amount of points can be scored in this contest, especially if Prescott is playing. In this spot, I just feel that 42.5 is too low.
I am taking the over in the rivalry game.
