The Bengals got off to a rocky start last week against their divisional foe, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers D threw a stick in their spokes and the special teams laid an egg.
The Cowboys got dog walked by Tom Brady and company in primetime and Dak Prescott left the game with an injury to his hand which he has since got surgically repaired.
Going into this one, I feel the exact same way about the Cowboys as I have felt most of life. They are always overrated and Dak as much as I love him is a total bandaid.
The Bengals on the other hand, I have not lost any confidence or faith in despite the shaky start against the Steelers. This team is too talented and they will clean up their mistakes moving forward.
So I think you’ll know who I lean here but let’s dig into it anyway shall we.
Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals only real weakness last season was their offensive line and they went out and got 5 new starters for their star QB. And yet they still allowed a stupid amount of sacks against the Steelers on Sunday making Joe Burrow the most sacked quarterback in the league in 25 games.
They simply need to be better. The Steeler front is amazing, sure. So is the Cowboys but do your fricken jobs guys.
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are a bit of a laughing stock at this point and it pisses me off. I was raised to hate them as most of us were but I do not actually, I like a lot of their guys but this squad is just a let down every season.
Being without Gallup and Now Dak? I am surprised this spread isn’t 10 or more.
