What would have usually been a nice Monday Night matchup has turned into a below average one. The Patriots will host the Buffalo Bills, but for the first time in forever, have nothing to play for.
The Bills will be look to snatch the 2nd seed in the conference as the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to collapse down the stretch.
Buffalo Bills
The Bills played last Saturday and put on a show. First of all, the clinched the AFC East with their win. Secondly, they put up 48 points on Denver and look like a team that could challenge the Chiefs. The Bills quarterback, Josh Allen, is having a monster year and is continuing to put up yards like it is nothing. He had 359 yards passing against the Broncos and did not turn the ball over either. The Bills also had 182 yards on the ground and are continuing to get better every week.
The Buffalo offense is now ranked 6th in total yards. They are the 2nd best passing offense and 21st best rushing offense. Their rushing offense is clearly improving as well with the performance we saw against Denver.

I am almost more impressed by how this Bills’ defense is getting better. They allowed 255 total yards to Denver and look to be a legit defense. Their numbers would say otherwise, but from the eye test, they are getting better. In terms of the numbers, they ranked 16th in total defense, 15th in passing defense and 20th in rushing defense. Again, these are a bit deceiving with the what we saw against Denver.
New England Patriots
The Patriots for the first time since 2008, will not be making the playoff. They will not even finish the year with a winning season. Though you better believe that Bill Belichick is going to do everything he can to keep his team from a losing season. They also just lost to Miami and mustered only 12 points. Clearly, the Cam Newton pickup is not working out, so do not be surprised if after the season he is out.
The offense is ranked 24th overall, 30th in passing and 6th in rushing. They also only average 20.6 points per game.
The Patriots defense has been serviceable this season an allowed just 22 points against Miami. They allowed Tua Tagovailoa to throw for just 145 yards and no touchdowns. They even forced an interception, but the offense had no answer.
The Patriots rank 11th in total defense, 6th against the pass and 27th against the run. They also allow just 21.5 points per game.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Buffalo Bills -7
New England’s time is over, at least for this season. That part is clear. I think we get a nice effort from the Pats, but Allen and the Bills will be too much. I will back Buffalo to win comfortabley.
