The Dallas Cowboys will be squaring off against the Atlanta Falcons in week 2 of the season at home in Jerry’s world. Both teams come into this game with one loss and one of these teams will look to get into the win column on Sunday.
Atlanta Falcons
After finishing 2019 6-1 the Falcons found themselves going back to their losing ways in 2020 dropping their first game of the season versus the Seahawks. Russell Wilson torched the defense throwing for over 322 yards and adding four touchdowns to his credit.
Matt Ryan was slow coming out the gate of the game but as it went on he got much better. Ryan completed 37 of 54 passes for 450 yards to go with his two touchdowns and one interception. Falcons figured out quickly that the Seahawks secondary is not as strong as it once was and started targeting Quinton Dunbar.
Wide receivers Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Russell Gage all had outstanding games as each of them eclipsed 100 yards receiving and over 12 YPA. All three of them caught nine catches on 12 targets, but Ridley was the only one of three to find the endzone and ended up getting there twice.

We know Atlanta’s offense is good as every starter is a former first-round pick, but the defense is really bad. Grady Jarrett was the only bright spot last week as he gathered 1.5 sacks and got two tackles in the game. He can’t be the only guy being productive if the Falcons want to win football games.
Dallas Cowboys
Sunday Night was a bit of a shock to everyone as the Cowboys lost as a road favorite to the Rams. Dallas’s high power offense was not able to get the ball out fast enough as Aaron Donald caused constant pressure to Dak throughout the game.
Dak Prescott looked shaky in his first completing 25 of 39 passes for just one touchdown in the game. The offensive line really struggled to protect him throughout the entire game. The Cowboys have a rookie center and rookie left guard coming in to replace some veterans from the best offensive line a year ago, so it’s going to take some time for them to adjust.
Ezekial Elliot had his usual game getting 96 yards on the ground and 31 yards in the passing game to go with his two TD’s on the night. The three-headed monster of Amari Cooper, Ceedee Lamb, and Michael Gallup were shut down as Jalen Ramsey was flying all over the field. Not one receiver broke 100 yards for the Boys.
Defensively, Dallas looked really good. Aldon Smith and Randy Gregory off the edges caused Goff to get the ball out early a ton. Jaylon Smith led the team with five tackles on the night and is going to play a key role going forward with the loss of Leighton Vander-Esch for a couple of weeks.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Dallas -6.5
I like Dallas to put up some points here and show the league that their offense is really no joke. Atlanta has one the worst secondaries in the league and I think the Cowboys are going to attack that weakness all game.
Watch out for Ceedee lamb in this one as he could have his break-out game as a rookie. That’s why I’m riding with Dallas in this one. Also, if you like double-dipping on games I’d also sprinkle some money on the over.
