The NFC is a log jam at the top of the odds in terms of what team will win. There are seven teams that are 9/1 or better.
It should make for a very exciting season, that has a lot of good battles come playoff times.
2020 NFC Championship Predictions: New Orleans Saints 4/1
The New Orleans Saints were a missed pass interference call away from making the Super Bowl and we could be talking about them as the Super Bowl champs.
Instead, we are talking about a team that feels like they were robbed last year, and they have made it their goal to win the Super Bowl.
This season for the Saints is going to come down to the regular season. If they can lock down the home field throughout the playoffs, they are going to be really hard to beat.
They are at a nice price for the favorite sitting at 4/1 and I wouldn’t be afraid to bet them. Drew Brees is getting older but he can still lead this team to the Super Bowl.
2020 NFC Championship Predictions: Los Angeles Rams 5/1
The Rams were the team to win the NFC Championship game last year but they come into this season with the second best odds.
One of the big problems with the Rams is the offense. They have one of the best offenses in football, but they still have a lot of questions.
Jared Goff disappeared in the Super Bowl and they need him to play better this season. The other big question surrounds Todd Gurley.
Last year during the playoffs he wasn’t effective because of the knee and it’s something that could hang him up forever.
Will he be able to get through it? Or will he be a non factor this year?
2020 NFC Championship Predictions: Philadelphia Eagles 5/1
The Philadelphia Eagles also have a big question mark this season, but they still come in with the third best odds to get the job done.
Carson Wentz always gets injured, and they don’t have Nick Foles to fall back on this year if he does go down with injury.
If he stays healthy this is a team that has the talent to get the job done, but that is a big if. I would not be putting any money on the Eagles.
2020 NFC Championship Predictions: Chicago Bears 13/2
The Chicago Bears are my team pick to win it all this year, and they are a great value here to win the NFC Championship game.
The Bears defense is their strength, and I think Mitchell Trubisky is going to take a step forward this year and this is also going to be a strong offense.
The one thing that does scare me is the kicking situation but I think it will work itself out through the season and not cost them come the playoffs.
2020 NFC Championship Predictions: Green Bay Packers 9/1
There has been a ton of money on the Packers to get the job done, but I really don’t think they have any chance to win this one.
They tried to improve the defense but I don’t think they have done enough, and Aaron Rodgers play has dipped the last few years.
I know it’s tempting, but don’t place any money on this one. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if they miss out on the playoffs.
