As good as last year’s team, on paper this team is probably actually better this year. 2018 Minnesota Vikings Predictions: Roster Changes
The biggest difference for the Vikings this year is at the quarterback position. Out is Case Keenum who moved onto the Denver Broncos and in is Kirk Cousins from the Washington Redskins who signed a three year fully guaranteed contract.

They also brought in Sheldon Richardson on a one year contract who will only make a really good defense even better.
The defensive line was already elite, and with Richardson in the middle it might be the best defensive line in all of football.
The other biggest loss this offseason was Jerrick McKinnon who signed on to the be the lead back with the San Francisco 49ers.
The Vikings are really going to miss him, but they also are going to get a healthy Dalvin Cook back.
2018 Minnesota Vikings Predictions: Offense
The Vikings offense starts with Kirk Cousins who is going to have a ton of pressure on his shoulders, especially after the type of season that Case Keenum had last year.
In the backfield the Vikings have a nice one-two punch in Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray. There are still some questions about the offensive line, but the running game should be leaned on heavily.

On the outside the Vikings have Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen and they are quite a one two punch. Add in tight end Kyle Rudolph to the mix and Cousins is going to have to all kinds of weapons to throw to.
2018 Minnesota Vikings Predictions: Defense
Since Mike Zimmer came to Minnesota the strength has been the defense, and this defense is one again going to be one of the best in football.
The talent this team has all over the field is elite, and there really isn’t many weak spots for this team on the defense. As individuals the players are great but they also work really well as a team, and Zimmer has everyone playing a team first style of game.
2018 Minnesota Vikings Handicapping: (Strengths/Weaknesses)
The defense is going to be the strength again. What Zimmer has built in his time in Minnesota is nothing short of impressive and I would expect it to be top notch again.

Where the weaknesses is I don’t really see many. The offensive line could end up being a weakness but they did decent last year being the “weakness.”
This team has high expectations and if they don’t live up to it, that could turn into a big weakness.
2018 Minnesota Vikings Prediction (Final Record): 11-5
I really think there is a chance this team could make it back to the Super Bowl. I think they will finish with an 11-5 record and win the NFL North.
