2018 Packers Season Preview & NFL Futures Lines
Looking for 2018 Green Bay Packers predictions? We’ve got your back. The Green Bay Packers season was shot last year after Aaron Rodgers went down with an injury. They soon found out how much Rodgers carry the team, and how there isn’t much else to the team that can win games, especially at the quarterback position. This year Rodgers is back and the expectations are to win a Super Bowl. They have the talent in place, but Rodgers needs to stay healthy if they want to have a chance.

2018 Green Bay Packers Predictions: Roster Changes
The biggest departure this offseason was Ted Thompson who is transitioning to a senior advisor for the team, and that is key.
The Packers haven’t done a great job surrounding Aaron Rodgers with what he needs, and maybe with a new man in charge they finally can.
Jimmy Graham and Marcedes Lewis were brought in to be new tight end targets for Rodgers and I expect both to have big seasons.
On the defensive side of the ball they brought in Tramon Williams for the second stint with the team and he is a good veteran that should provide some value.
The biggest name lost for the Packers this offseason who went off to the Oakland Raiders. Rodgers and Nelson had quite the connection, but Nelson dealt with a lot of injuries.
2018 Green Bay Packers Predictions: Offense
This team has Rodgers and that is huge and he has the guys on the outside to throw the ball too and there are no concerns there.
At the running back position is where this team might have some issues. They don’t have a true bell cow which puts more pressure on Rodgers.
The offensive line also hasn’t done a great job of protecting Rodgers the last couple of years, and this year that also could be an issue.
2018 Green Bay Packers Predictions: Defense
The Packers defense is finally getting a much needed change. Dom Capers was the defensive coordinator since 2009 and it seemed like the new NFL had passed him by.
In is former Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine who is a really bright defensive mind, and the new voice is going to be good for this team.
The secondary is still going to be an issue for this team and against the quarterbacks in the NFC North that could be an issue, but it’s going to be better than last year.
2018 Green Bay Packers Handicapping: (Strengths/Weaknesses)
The passing attack is going to be this team’s bread and butter. When a team has Aaron Rodgers that is not surprising and I think that he is going to have another special year.
The defense is once again going to be the question, and will be what holds them back if they are held back. They just aren’t up to par with the offense.
2018 Green Bay Packers Prediction (Final Record): 9-7
The Packers are going to be better with Rodgers healthy but I don’t see them winning the NFC North. They will be one or two games short, but I still think they will do enough to make the playoffs.
