A couple of Power 5 programs colliding here. Neither has been super impressive but this win could mean something depending on how their resume’s look.
That’s would be especially so for Wisconsin who gets a chance to add a true road win…if they can get it.

Tennessee is looking to bank enough wins after sustaining a critical injury that puts their season in doubt.
Wisconsin Badgers
The Badgers might not have bad losses but they have more of them than might have been expected so far. This team is not going to challenge for the Big Ten title but they will make you work most nights.
Nate Reuvers is the next sweet-shooting big man for Wisconsin. He is leading the team in scoring at 15ppg but is not impacting the game as much on the boards or distrubuting the ball like Ethan Happ did. He can block shots though.
If Wisconsin is going to be more of a threat it will be because their guards start playing better. They need to both shoot it better and create more opportunities for teammates. There needs to be more ball movement.
Tennessee Volunteers
This is Tennessee’s last game before immersing themselves in conference play. They just lost Lamonte Turner, a key contributor so it is a chance to tune things up a little against some real competition.
Turners was leading the team with over 7 assists per game and was their second-leading scorer. Senior Jordan Bowden might be able to replace some fo that scoring but coordinating the offense has never really been his thing. Tennessee plays good defense and they are going to need that to continue.
CBB Betting Trends:
- WIS are 6-15-1 ATS in their last 22 games overall.
- Under is 6-2 in TENN last 8 overall.
- Under is 6-2 in TENN last 8 non-conference games.
Free Wisconsin Badgers vs. Tennessee Volunteers NCAAB Prediction:
Wisconsin gets the advantage of a team in transition with the Turner injury. My instinct is they are not quite figured out yet.
4* Free CBB Betting Pick: Wisconsin +4.5
If this game is ugly and low scoring Wisconsin can certainly play and win that way. Getting the points even on the road feels right here.
