Last season, the Thunder swept the Wizards, taking both matches, and possesses a six-game win streak against Washington.

Washington hits the road for the next three of four matches and will play eight of the next 12 away from home. OKC, on the other hand, is home for two games before they hit the road for seven of the next 10 matches.

Washington ranks 25th offensively (108.0), 24th defensively (117.0), and 25th in net rating (-9.0), running a pace of 108.0, which ranks third fastest in the association.

Although the Wizards are looking like tank artists again, one area they’ve dramatically improved is defensive rebounding. They rank second overall (37.8/74.1%) after finishing 27th in this category last season.

Adding to their injury woes, Chet Holmgren sat out the last game with back soreness and is questionable for Thursday.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is off to a fire start averaging 34.8 points, 6.2 rebounds,  5.4 assists and 2.8 stocks per game.

With Holmgren’s status uncertain and the Wizards outperforming their win total, I’ll take the points given the massive spread.
