This is a team that has lost three of their last four games. Although their record is still pretty good, they have to start playing better than they have been. It is very easy to slide in the standings if you are not careful.
I thought this team would be decent this year, but I never had them starting off the year at 14-10. I honestly was not sure if they would have a winning record right about now.
There were a lot of questions about how this team would play without Russell Westbrook. Even though he is a very talented player, it seems like they are doing just fine without him.
Washington lost to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday by a score of 102-90. That is certainly an example of a game they would like to have back.
It is very challenging to win a game when you score that few points. The defense was not the problem in that game, but you have got to get more production from the offense.
Indiana Pacers
The Pacers have really not had a good season at all. Unless they seriously improve as the year goes on, it will be a lost year for this squad.
Indiana currently has a record of 9-16, which puts them in 13th place in the Eastern Conference. The only teams that are below them are the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons.
I thought this club would be playing better at this point. Look, I did not think they would be title contenders, but I definitely had them being better than the 13th seed.
They lost to the Miami Heat on Friday by a score of 113-104. They will once again be in for a challenge when they go against this Wizards team.
In the loss to Miami, Caris Levert was the leading scorer with 27 points. Myles Turner also added in 20 points and 4 rebounds. Their defense was just not able to do enough in order to stop the Miami offense.
