Phoenix has quietly climbed to the top of the pack in the loaded Western Conference, boasting the leagues 2nd best record of 35-14. The only better record belongs to the Utah Jazz but a win Wednesday would help the Suns close the 2.5 game differential.
The Suns are winners of 6 straight games, most recently on Monday with a 133-130 road win in Houston. It was another lackluster defensive performance but they were able to do enough on offense to get the win.
Devin Booker dropped a game high 36 points with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Former #1 pick Deandre Ayton recorded a monster 27 point and 11 rebound double-double in the winning effort.
Frank Kaminsky is out due to health and safety protocols while Abdel Nader will miss his ninth game due to a knee injury.
