Here is my Spurs Wolves free pick.  With the win over the Nuggets on Friday, the Spurs secured their spot in the NBA Cup elimination round.

Notably, an oddity about the Wolves is that their defense is the fourth-best in the association over the last 10 games, but Minnesota went 6-4 during this period, losing some very winnable games.

Anthony Edwards continues to ascend in the NBA averaging 28.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.5 steals plus shoots 39.2% from deep.  

Victor Wembanyama has missed the last six games, while Stephon Castle has missed the last five games. During these absences, the Spurs are 5-1 and 4-1, respectively.

They’ll be out again in this match, and the Wolves will be at a rest disadvantage. Still, I like the Wolves to buckle down defensively and cover the spread as they win this meeting.
