The San Antonio Spurs will be looking to continue to climb up the Western Conference this Wednesday as they meetup with the Chicago Bulls at the United Center in what is anticipated to be a very tightly contested game.
San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs were clinical in their last game against the Detroit Pistons picking up that victory by 10 points even without their star shooting guard DeMar Derozan who was out due to personal issues.
DeMar will once again not be available for the Spurs as he has already been ruled out of this contests so the onus will fall on the younger guys like Keldon Johnson and Dejounte Murray to carry that offensive load in DeMar’s absence.
The guy the Spurs will really want to get going here will be Keldon Johnson, as he was pretty invisible in his last game against the Pistons only putting up 9 points in a game you felt he should have played a bigger role in.
Devin Vassell and Patty Mills will both be guys to look out for in this game as well, with minutes needing to be maid up for DeRozan not being on the floor and these were the two main beneficiaries in the last game against the Pistons.
Chicago Bulls
Rookie Patrick Williams had his best night as a pro in the Bull’s win over the Toronto Raptors in their last game, as Williams was able to put up 23 points and it will now be interesting to see what he can do the rest of the year and beyond.
Zach Lavine was not particularly good in that game against the Raptors as the young shooting guard had 34 minutes and was only able to turn that into 15 points and if the Bulls are going to be successful here against the Spurs he probably needs to have a better performance.
As for injuries Devon Dotson and Garrett Temple will remain out here, but other than that the Bulls will be able to come in here at almost full strength which many NBA teams cannot say at this point in the season.

Free San Antonio Spurs vs. Chicago Bulls NBA Prediction:
I think the Chicago Bulls have a very strong chance of picking up the win here, as the Spurs have parted ways with Aldridge and DeRozan will be unavailable and although the Spurs were able to have success short-handed in that last game against the Pistons, I do believe the Bulls are significantly better then the Pistons and therefore should put up a tougher fight.
I also think the Bulls shooting guard Zach Lavine will be up for this game, as he needs to have a bounce back performance and as the leader of this team he knows it is now or never if the Bulls are going to make any kind of noise in the East this year.
This should also be a more slow and methodical type of game, so I do not think the under is the worst way to go either even though the number listed is pretty low at this point.
